+ Short-term industrial crops: the production area reached 11,739.6
hectares, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%, of which peanut area was 6,187.1
hectares, a surge of 7.7%, the peanut yield of 19.2 quintals/hectare, an increase
of 0.8 quintals/hectare, and the peanut production 11,887 tons, an increase of
2.4%. The sesame area was 4.512.5 hectares, a surge of 6.2%, the sesame yield
of 6.2 quintals/hectare, a slight increase of 0.4 quintals/hectare, and the sesame
production of 2,785.2 tons, a surge of 12.9 %. The sugarcane area was 931
hectares, a drop of 24.1%, the sugarcane yield of 427.2 quintals/hectare, an
increase of 17.2 quintals/hectare, and the sugarcane production of 39,771.9
tons, a drop of 20.9%.
+ The production area of vegetables, beans and flowers of all kinds
reached 20,288.8 hectares, a year-on-year growth of 2.3 %, of which the area
of vegetables of all kinds was 10,248.6 hectares, an increase of 3 %, and the
area of beans of all kinds was 9,957.6 hectares, a growth of 1.6 %. The
increased area mainly concentrated in crops such as fruit vegetables, legumes,
leafy vegetables, fruit melons, black beans, and red beans, etc. Due to the
increasing demand for these crops, producers focused on planting these crops,
therefore, the yield of vegetables and legumes witnessed an increase, the
production of vegetables and fruits reached 113,638.1 tons, a year-on-year
shrink of 1.1%, and beans production of all kinds was 9,957.6 tons, a year-on-
year growth of 1.6%.
+ The area of other annual crops reached 2,023.1 hectares, a year-on-year
surge of 5.8 %, due to the increasing demand for these crops. The area of the
remaining annual crops reached 1,542.1 hectares, a year-on-year surge of 9%.
- The total area of perennial crops reached 108,049.5 hectares, a year-on-
year decline of 3%, of which the area of perennial industrial crops was
667,742.5 ha, an increase of 1.4 %; the area of perennial fruits was 39,622.6
hectares, a decline of 9.4%; the area of other perennial crops 1,810.2 hectares,
a growth of 5.1%. Specifically:
