3. Policy on social and health insurance
In2022, 1,263,150 persons participated in insurance activities, an
increase of 1.43% compared to the 2021 figure, of which 107,921 person
engaged in the social insurance, 1,066,582 persons joined the health insurance,
and 88,647 persons participated in the unemployment insurance.
The total insurance revenue reached 2,703 billion VND in2022, of which
the revenues from social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment
insurance achieved 1,638 billion VND, 985 billion VND, and 80 billion VND,
respectively. The total insurance expenditure reached 2,590 billion VND
in2022, of which the expenditure on social insurance, health insurance, and
unemployment insurance attained 1,711 billion VND, 694 billion VND, and
185 billion VND, respectively./.
