The average number of pupils per class in the preschool, the primary
secondary school, the lower secondary school, and the upper secondary school
was 26.8; 29.2; 34.7 and 40.3, respectively. The average number of pupils per
teacher in the preschool, the primary school, the lower secondary school and
upper secondary school was 13.9, 20.3, 18.4 and 17.5, respectively.
7.3. Culture, sports, and communication
- Culture: In 2022, cultural and artistic activities organized in diversified
forms to serve the province's political tasks and meet the people's demand for
cultural and mental enjoyment. At the same time, those activities also
contributed to promote Binh Thuan’s landscape and people who are friendly,
hospitable with a unique and diverse cultural tradition, as a bridge to attract
domestic and foreign tourists.
- Physical training and mass sport: Physical training and mass sport
were regularly and enthusiastically organized and attracted a large number of
people from all social classes. Regarding elite sports, in 2022 Binh Thuan
sport sector achieved many outstanding achievements. Provincial sports
delegation competed in regional and international competitions and won 12
medals, including 04 gold medals and 04 silver medals in the Southeast Asian
arena and 04 bronze medals (01 World; 02 Asia and 01 Southeast Asia).
- Communication: Information and communication was promoted. Press
agencies, radio, television and agencies with press publications in the province
strengthened communication, opened special editions to provide information
and raise awareness to all levels, sectors and people in the province on the
implementation of political tasks and events in 2022.
7.4. Health and community health care
In 2022, health activities in the province witnessed positive development.
The province implemented Covid-19 vaccination coverage, improved the
capacity of monitoring, collection and treatment, well served examination and
treatment. At the same time, the authorities maintained Projects on Population
- Family Planning Target Program, health education communication;
prevention and control of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, leprosy, malaria, dengue
