urban areas and rural areas were 1.45% and 3.33%, respectively.
In 2022, 22,000 workers were employed, 14,778 persons were recruited
and trained. Per capita income per month in 2022 reached 4,305,000 VND, an
increase of 9.96% over the same period last year. The percentage of
households having hygienic water reached 98.85%; the rate of
multidimensional poverty households was 2.58%.
7.2. Education and training
In the school year 2022 - 2023, the whole province had 181 preschool,
reduction of 1 school compared to the previous year; 397 general schools,
including: 239 primary schools; 112 lower secondary schools, 26 upper
secondary schools; 18 primary and lower secondary schools, 1 lower and
upper secondary school (Le Loi lower and upper secondary school), 1 general
school for many levels of education (Le Quy Don general school); 1
university; 03 colleges and 01 vocational intermediate school.
The whole province had 4,382 preschool teachers, equal to the previous
school year; the number of classroom teachers in the general schools was
12,639 persons, down 1.41%, including 6,137 primary teachers, down 0.78%;
4,095 lower secondary school teachers, down 2.61% and 2,207 upper
secondary school teachers, a year-on-year growth of 0.81%. The majority of
general school teachers had at least standard training qualifications. The
number of university lecturers was 230 persons, a year-on-year increase of
12.75%. The number of university students was 2,680 persons, an increase of
6.01%, of which the number of female students was 1,581, accounting for
58.99% and a year-on-year increase of 0.13%. In 2022, the whole province had
493 university graduates, a year-on-year growth of 67.12%.
In the school year 2022 - 2023, the whole province had 60,941 preschool
pupils, a year-on-year increase of 3.77%; 242,166 general school pupils, a
year-on-year rise of 0.55%, including 124,606 primary school pupils, 78,904
lower secondary school pupils and 38,656 upper secondary school pupils, a
year-on-year increase of 0.18%, 0.79% and 1.3%, respectively.
