The number of fire and explosion incidents witnessed an increase of 21
incidents.
In short: In 2022, the provincial economy saw a strong recovery after
the Covid-19 pandemic, many economic sectors recovered and achieved high
growth.
Agricultural production remained stable; the number of livestock and
poultry and fisheries and aquaculture production increased against the previous
year. Disease prevention and control on plants and animals, management and
protection of forests and fisheries resources were actively implemented. The
authorities implemented new rural development and recognized 03 more
communes meeting new-style rural standards, bringing the total number of
communes meeting new-style rural standards in province to 72 out of 93
communes (reached 77.42%), of which 01 commune meets advanced new-
style rural commune standard. The authorities continued to install vessel
monitoring system equipments on fishing boats. Policies to support the
development of ethnic minority areas continued to be well implemented.
After Covid-19, tourism recorded quick recovery; international arrivals
were 3.2 times higher and revenue from tourism was 3.2 times higher against
the previous year. Trade, service, transport, import and export resumed to
normal. Total retail sales of consumer goods and services increased by 24.9%
against the previous year. Export turnover increased by 30.9% over the same
period of the previous year.
The state budget revenue saw many developments. Budget expenditure
maintained current expenditure, capital expenditure, implementation of social
security policies and other key and urgent tasks. Credit in the province was
stable. The number of newly registered enterprises increased over the same
period of the previous year.
Attraction for capital investment saw a recovery, total investment
increased by 18.2% over the same period of the previous year. Progress of
disbursement of public investment was on schedule (in 2022, disbursement
reached over 95% of the plan). The authorities continued to improve provincial
