Postal infrastructure, and telecommunications network were continuously
developed and expanded, which ensured the safety of the information network,
smooth communication to serve for the direction and administration of state
agencies, people, organizations and enterprises. The fiber optic transmission
system, broadband internet, 3G, 4G mobile and landline network covered
100% of communes, wards and townships. Post and telecommunications
service network with 1,270 post and telecommunications business
establishments provided an average service radius of 1.4 km per establishment.
Total telephone subscribers reached 1,870,250 subscribers, gaining a density
of 149 subscribers per 100 inhabitants. The total number of Internet
subscribers of all kinds was 175,000; the rate of Internet users (convertion)
reached 70%./.
