Thiet - Dau Giay route; the manufacturing surged up 13.27%); electricity, gas,
steam and air-conditioning supply fell by 3.98%; water supply, sewerage,
waste management and remediation activities jumped by 6.01%.
Some main industrial products recorded a year-on-year growth in2022,
specifically: Animal feed, stone of all kinds, clothes, and fish sauce rose by
7.8%, 38.68%, 21.83%, 10.04%, and 4.17%, respectively.
2. Investment and construction
Total realized social investment capital at current prices was estimated to
reach 41,635.9 billion VND in2022, a year-on-year growth of 18.2%, and
equivalent to 43.05% in GRDP, of which the State sector’s investment reached
9,355.2 billion VND (accounting for 22.5% of the total realized social
investment capital), a rise of 13.9%; the non-state sector’s investment reached
29,900.8 billion VND (accounting for 71.8% of the total realized social
investment capital), a soar of 18.1%; the foreign direct investment sector
reached 2,379.9 billion VND (making up 5.7% of the total realized social
investment capital)), a jump of 41.3%.
With regard to foreign direct investment, in2022, 02 projects were newly
licensed with registered capital of 16.06 million USD, while this figure was
only 01 project in 2021. In addition, 119 turns of projects which were licensed
since the previous years registered to adjust their investment capital with
additional capital of 3,403.6 million USD, of which electricity, gas, steam and
air-conditioning supply attracted the largest foreign direct investment with
capital of 2,123.5 million USD, accounting for 62.4% of the total registered
capital, followed by accommodation and food service activities (678.4 million
USD, accounting for 19.9%), the manufacturing (405.84 million USD,
accounting for 11.9%), and other activities (195.9 million USD, accounting for
5.8%).
