Step 2: Calculating production index of VSIC 4-digit classes

The production index at 4-digit class of VSIC industry is the weighted average
index of indexes of items representing for such VSIC 4-digit classes.

Where:

IqN4: Production index for the N-th class of the VSIC 4-digit class.
Iqn: Production index for the n-th item in the VSIC 4-digit class.

Wqn: Weight of the item n. Weight of item is the value at basic price of the
item in the base year 2015.

Step 3: Calculating production index of VSIC 2-digit divisions

The production index at 2-digit division of VSIC industry is the weighted
average index of the production indices of VSIC 4-digit classes under the VSIC 2-
digit divisions.

Where:

IqN2: Production index of the VSIC 2-digit divisions.
IqN4: Production index of the VSIC 4-digit classes.

WqN4: Weight of the VSIC 4-digit divisions. Weight of the VSIC 4-digit
divisions is the value added at current price of the base year 2015.

Step 4: Calculating production index of VSIC 1-digit sector

The production index at 1-digit sector of VSIC industry is the weighted
average index of the production indices of VSIC 2-digit divisions under the VSIC
1-digit sectors.
